One lane was closed and traffic built up following a collision this morning (November 3) on the A299 at Monkton roundabout.
The London/Canterbury bound lane was shut while police, fire crews and paramedics were in attendance. One woman was taken to hospital with injuries described as ‘minor.’.
Traffic at the Minster roundabout also backed up on the lane heading to Thanet and motorists were urged to approach with caution.
Four fire engines attended and crews used hydraulic cutting equipment to release one person.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 9.42 am to reports of a single vehicle collision on the A299 Monkton Roundabout, Ramsgate.
“Officers attended alongside other emergency services where one woman was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.
“A lane closure was in place while the incident was responded to. The road was fully reopened at around 11.20am.”
