Emergency services were called to reports of a person falling from the East Pier at Ramsgate last night (July 28).
South East Coast Ambulance (SECAmb), Margate Coastguard, Ramsgate RNLI and the air ambulance attended the scene at around 8pm. The Border Force cutter was also standing by.
One person was rescued from the water, treated at the scene and then taken by road to the William Harvey Hospital in Ashford.
A SECAmb spokesperson said: “SECAmb were called shortly after 8pm yesterday evening (28/07/25) to reports that a person had fallen from height near East Pier in Ramsgate.
“Crews assessed and treated one patient at the scene before being joined by The Air Ambulance Charity, Kent Surrey Sussex. The patient was then taken by road to William Harvey Hospital for further medical treatment.”
