Sport & Play Facilities Project Manager at Thanet District Council, James Gregory,has visited Garlinge Primary School and Nursery to meet with the school council.
He and the pupils discussed an exciting initiative to re-develop the play equipment on Garlinge Recreation Ground.
Head of School Anna Northrop joined Mr Gregory to ask the children what new equipment they would like to see included.
The children loved talking about their great ideas for slides, climbing frames, see-saws and other equipment and were keen to draw pictures to illustrate what they would like to see purchased and installed on the recreation ground.
Many of the children at Garlinge love the idea of their community spaces being developed and being part of this process. They are looking forward to seeing this project come to life.
