A search was carried out by British Transport Police, and the National Police Air Service helicopter, following a robbery at Ramsgate railway station on Friday (May 23).
The suspect is reported to have stolen a watch and then got off the train to make off down the rail tracks.
A search of the area was carried out but the suspect has not yet been identified.
A British Transport Police spokesperson said: “Officers received a report of a robbery on a train to Ramsgate at around 8.30pm on 23 May, involving the victim having a watch stolen.
“The suspect left the train at Ramsgate and made off down the train tracks, and despite a full area search which included the assistance of NPAS, he wasn’t found at this time.
“Enquiries into the incident are still ongoing, anyone with information can text BTP by texting 61016 quoting log 714 of 23/05/25.”
