Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a boat alight at Ramsgate harbour this afternoon (April 8).
Two fire engines and the water safety unit attended the vessel which was in the boat yard in Military Road at 1.13pm.
Crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used hose reel jets to extinguish the flames.
There were no reported injuries, and the fire is believed to have been caused by hot work repairs being carried out on board.
Crews were finished at the scene by 1.35pm.
