Police are searching for a driver who left the scene following a crash in Margate last night (March 16).
Police and a fire crew were called out to Friends Avenue at 7pm after a car crashed into a parked vehicle.
No injuries were reported.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police were alerted to a collision at around 7pm Sunday 16 March at Friends Avenue, Margate. Two vehicles were involved in the collision, a moving vehicle and a parked one.
“Officers attended and closed the road. There were no reported injuries at the scene.
“The driver was not present at the scene when officers arrived. Enquiries are ongoing to locate the driver.”
Kent Fire and Rescue Service confirmed one engine was in attendance and the crew finished at the scene at 7.36pm.
These parked cars are forever causing accidents these days!!!!!
Standard of driving is ridiculous now.
And static walls, shops & houses-damn inconvinient things.
