A 38-year-old woman has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving following a crash in Ramsgate.
Kent Police was called to a report of a collision involving a car and a van at 6.45pm yesterday (March 14).
Police, Kent Fire and Rescue Service and paramedics attended the scene.
Fire crews advised people living or travelling near Margate Road at the junction of Coleman Crescent in Ramsgate to avoid the area while emergency services were attending the scene outside Summerhill Surgery
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Officers along with other emergency services attended the scene in Margate Road, Ramsgate.
“A 38-year-old woman from Ramsgate was arrested on suspicion of drink driving. She currently remains in custody.”
The road was cleared by 8pm.
