Around 100 people have dashed into the waves at Ramsgate’s Western Undercliff today {December 28} for the annual ‘just for fun’ winter dip.
The dip at the artificial beach is organised by Maxine Morgan of the Western Undercliff Regeneration Group.
She said today’s event was “amazing” with 95 people signing in and some extra swimmers also joining the group. Water temperature was reportedly 7.9 degrees.
Participants all receive a small trophy decorated with Western Undercliff sand and mini shells and there were also hotdogs on offer.
