Three people have been arrested after drugs were seized by officers in Ramsgate.
Kent Police attended Nixon Avenue on Monday {December }after a parcel addressed to a resident – and thought to contain cannabis – was intercepted.
A 61 year old woman and a 41 year old man were arrested on suspicion of the unlawful importation of Class B drugs and of cultivating cannabis, after a search led to the recovery of a number of young plants.
A further search of a nearby vehicle led to three blocks of suspected cannabis resin being seized. A 31 year old woman connected with the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs.
All three have been bailed while enquiries continue.
“A 61 year old woman”? Even pensioners in Ramsgate are druggies.

61 is not pension age. Maybe she’s just a happy gardener.
Well it WAS pension age, so maybe she’s a would-be pensioner who has been forced to work after being let down by successive governments? Either way, she’s old enough to know better.
I have a friend who is in her early 80s and she revealed not so long ago that she often took LSD in her past and once did a ‘trip’ with the late Brian Jones!
Hopefully she’s on nothing stronger than acid drops these days! I personally have never been tempted by illicit substances (and I’ve had plenty of chances hanging around with musicians), and I’ve rarely drunk to excess… maybe I just prefer getting high on fresh air and exercise, just as you look like you’re doing in your pic!
I have never touched those kind of drugs and similar to you I was in the company of people who did take them.
I cannot deny I enjoy a glass or two of wine but yes I prefer exercise. The photo is from a walking holiday in Wales
