Police are appealing for the whereabouts of a Ramsgate man who is wanted on recall to prison.
Officers want to locate Jason Tusting.
He is one of three men who were charged following a disturbance in Margate last December.
Police were called to the town’s High Street on Sunday 17 December, 2023 following an altercation between a group of people, during which a knife was reportedly seen.
Mr Tusting ,37, was charged at that time with violent disorder and possession of a bladed article. Two other men were also charged with disorder and weapon offences.

I was under the impression that when prisoners were released before serving their full sentence they were electronically tagged, if this person had been tagged the police would know where he was.
Bill, he would have completed the custodial part of his sentence, the rest of it would be his licence period:both parts make up his whole sentence. Any offence committed while on licence revokes it and he’ll be recalled.
For many offenders released on HDC (or ‘tag’), the same rules apply regarding licence but with stricter conditions. The report doesn’t indicate whether he was on tag or not.
He might have removed his tag Bill. It’s not that difficult for someone like him.
