One person was taken to hospital following a crash on the Thanet Way on Saturday night (September 28).
Emergency services were called just after 10.30pm when a car left the carriageway, hit the barriers and then caught alight.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called to the A299 Thanet Way between the St Nicholas-at-Wade roundabout and Herne Bay on the London-bound carriageway at 10.34pm on Saturday 28 September, following reports that a car had left the carriageway and was on fire.
“Emergency services attended the scene, and one person was taken to a local hospital for treatment to injuries not believed to be life threatening.
“The road was fully re-opened just before 5am on Sunday 30 September.”
