Seven arrests during east Kent police raids

Seven people have been arrested as detectives investigating a suspected drugs network carried out warrants around east Kent.

This morning (12 September), police entered and searched eight locations in Dover, Deal, Ramsgate, Chartham and Dymchurch.

Suspected class A drugs were seized along with cash and weapons, including two imitation firearms and a knuckleduster.

Seven people, four men aged between 26 and 49, two 17-year-old boys and a 35-year-old woman, have been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of illegal drugs and they remain in custody while enquiries continue.

  1. The judges should Let 7 protestors out the over crowded jails and put these behind bars without bail.
    Well done police, but there are plenty more in Thanet though.
