Getting earlier every year-everywhere you go you are now regaled in August/September about Xmas lunches at Pubs & ordering stuff from furniture etc shops with them promising Xmas delivery.
The supermarkets put their Easter Eggs on display in December/January in recent years & Xmas goods in September. Should be a law against doing this stuff until at least November, when Halloween has passed.
It’s called forward planning ,allowing people on lower income to spread the cost over a period of time ,if you don’t like it you don’t have to get involved until you want to Simples really
Nonsense, it is just gratuitous commercialism. Furniture companies have always relied on people buying everything on tick.
“Suspended GB News Anchor” is right. The commercialization of these traditional festivals is pretty disgusting, whether you consider them to be religious or
pagan.
Happy Easter!
