A fifth person has been charged following an investigation into a robbery in Cliftonville.
Kent Police was called at 3.40am on Wednesday 24 July to a report that threats had been made to two residents after three men had entered a property in St Paul’s Road.
It was alleged that the victims were asked to hand over money and one man was assaulted before the suspects left the scene by car.
Officers attended and a man was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment.
The investigation by Kent Police has already resulted in the charging of four men in connection with the incident.
On Wednesday 21 August, a fifth arrest was made by officers.
Soran Bisary, 53, of Melling Drive, Enfield, London, was charged the following day with robbery, possession of an offensive weapon in a public place and possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear.
He was remanded to appear at Sevenoaks Magistrates’ Court today (August 22)..

If crimes committed by immigrants really were ” all brushed under the carpet”, there would be no such article as the one above in any newspaper ,nor in any radio or television news programmes.
It’s not all brushed under the carpet , but there’s most certainly a degree of selective application of justice and publicity, the most worrying case was the brothel pimping underage girls near Dalby Square in the early 2000’s, never even made the news because the authorities didn’t want to risk stigmatising sections of the community.
How can a nation make informed decisions on policy if the information has been curated.
However in this case , it’d be more enlightening if we knew what events had led to 5 “armed” people coming to margate to do whatever they did. Seems a rather serious response from those involved, especially given the distances away some give as their addresses.
However someones name will only give an indication of possible heritage, it gives no proof as to a persons place of birth , upbringing , beliefs, behaviour etc. It should also be borne in mind that Thanet was for many years little more than a sleepy backwater, too far from the central southeast to attract the attentions or ,wish to live here, of some of life’s least desirable ne’er do wells. Unfortunately we’re catching up fast.
I wonder if a 6th person will be arrested soon. There appears to be a growing amount of persons involved in this burglary and assault with menaces. Hopefully the court will lock them all up when convicted. We don’t need innocent residents beaten up with weapons while being robbed.
