Kent Police officers are investigating a reported sexual assault in Cliftonville.
Kent Police received a report that a woman had been sexually assaulted by a man near Cliffe Terrace at around 4am today (August 10).
Officers are carrying out enquiries and a cordon has been put in place while the investigation takes place.
It is understood that the incident is being treated as isolated and officers do not believe there is any wider risk to the community.
