Two men charged over robbery in Cliftonville

Two men have been charged following a robbery in Margate.

Police were called at 3.40am on Wednesday 24 July to a report that three men had entered a property on St Paul’s Road in Cliftonville and had made threats to two residents.

It was alleged the victims were asked to hand over money and one man was assaulted before the suspects left the scene by car.

Officers attended and a man was taken to a local hospital for medical treatment, from where he has since been discharged.

Following an investigation by Kent Police that involved working with South Yorkshire Police, two men were arrested and later charged in connection with the incident.

Ahmed Musa, of Britnall Street, Sheffield and Gadalsed Frahna, of Deer Park View, Sheffield were each charged on Friday 26 July with robbery, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of an offensive weapon.

Mr Musa, 26 and Mr Frahna, 28 were due to appear before Sheffield Magistrates’ Court yesterday (July 26).
