Armed officers make three arrests in Ramsgate as part of stabbing investigation

Kent Police, including armed officers, have arrested three people this evening  following a stabbing in Ramsgate this morning (March 3).

Officers made arrests in Grange Road this evening in connection with the serious assault which took place in Hurst Grove, off Whitehall Road, between 6am and 7am.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 7.02am  (Sunday 3 March) to a report that a man had sustained several injuries, including a stab wound, in Hurst Grove, Ramsgate.

“Officers attended and the man was taken to a hospital for injuries not reported to be life threatening.

“Following the incident officers, including firearms officers, carried out a number of enquiries in the local area and three people have been arrested.

“The incident is being treated as isolated, and those arrested remain in custody while enquiries continue.”
