UPDATE: An 80-year-old man reported missing from the Westgate-On-Sea area since Thursday 18 January 2024 has been safely located.
Officers would like to thank all those who assisted with their enquiries and shared the appeal.
Police are asking for help to find a missing man in Thanet.
John Saggers was last seen in the Roxburgh Road area of Westgate-on-Sea at around 11.35pm on Thursday 18 January.
The 80-year-old is described as around 5ft, 6ins tall and is thought to be wearing khaki trousers, navy blue shoes, a blue jacket, a black hat and checked scarf.
Anyone who has seen him or know of his whereabouts is urged to call 999, quoting 19-0016.
