Kent Police has confirmed that a man was declared deceased at the scene following a reported person in the water at Ramsgate yesterday (November 14).
Emergency services were in attendance at Ramsgate harbour following the report at around 9am.
Police, Coastguard, paramedics and Ramsgate RNLI attended.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 9am on Tuesday 14 November to Harbour Parade, Ramsgate following reports of a body in the water.
“A man was declared deceased at the scene. His next of kin have been informed.
“Officers are currently working to establish the cause of death.”
