Appeal for witnesses after man stabbed in Margate

Detectives are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Margate where a man was stabbed in the back.

At around 10.20pm on Tuesday 7 November, Kent Police received a report of a disturbance involving a group of men in Cliftonville Avenue. One of the men was reported to have suffered the stab wound and sought treatment at a local hospital.

Officers attended the scene and patrols will remain in the area to carry out enquiries.

An investigation into the incident is ongoing, and officers would like to speak to anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious between 10pm and 10.45pm that evening, in the area of Cliftonville Avenue, Approach Road and Dane Park.
