Woman due in court over repeated anti-social behaviour in Margate

A woman is to appear in court charged in connection with repeated anti-social behaviour in Margate town centre.

On Wednesday 11 October, neighbourhood beat officers were on patrol in Cecil Square when they challenged a person over their behaviour.

Following an investigation, Stephanie Parker, 34, of no fixed address, was arrested and charged with assaulting an officer, being drunk and disorderly and a public order offence.

She has also been charged with four counts of breaching the conditions of her community protection notice in the town centre by:

  • being abusive on 3 October.
  • having an open container of alcohol on 6 and 7 October.
  • being argumentative with police on 9 October.

She has been bailed to appear at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13 November.
