Two men remanded in connection with burglaries across Thanet and London

Two men are to appear in crown court charged in connection with a series of burglaries in Thanet and  London.

The charges follow an investigation by the Kent Crime Squad into reports of cash and gold jewellery stolen from properties between 18 June and 12 July.

Detectives investigated burglaries in Margate, Ramsgate, Broadstairs and London.

Joshua Styles, 38, of no fixed address, and 33-year-old Vincent Ryder, of Broadstairs, were each charged on Wednesday 16 August with conspiracy to commit burglaries.

The two men appeared at Folkestone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday 17 August and were remanded in custody. They will next appear at Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 18 September.

A third man, aged 33 and from Harlow, was arrested on Thursday 17 August as part of the investigation and currently remains in custody while enquiries continue.
