The first was held last year at Baker Street café in Ramsgate with eight authors come along selling books and making connections with other authors and readers, followed by a mini quiz in the evening to raise funds for the Broadstairs Town Shed.

This weekend there is another Pop-Up Bookshop (24th-26th February)  in Namaka café, Albion Street, Broadstairs. There are 23 authors whose books will be for sale over the weekend.

There will be genres to suit all readers, from children’s books to sci-fi, romance to thrillers, local history to short story collections.

Open 9am-6pm Friday & Saturday and 10am to 5pm on Sunday

Some of the authors will be attending the event over the weekend, signing their books.
