
Witnesses are being sought after sentimental jewellery and a medal were stolen from a property in Broadstairs.
It was reported that between 4.20pm and 7.25pm on Thursday 13 October, a property in Salisbury Avenue was burgled and a door damaged.
A London Fire Brigade long service medal was taken, as well as jewellery of sentimental value to the victim.
The jewellery includes:
- A gold wedding ring, uniquely shaped to fit other rings into it.
- A plain yellow gold band eternity ring with nine diamonds placed across the top.
- An engagement ring described as having a single diamond on a yellow gold band.
- A yellow gold engagement ring with a blue sapphire in the middle and circle diamonds either side.
- A matching set of a yellow gold rope necklace, bracelet and earrings in a long display box.
- An engagement ring with a yellow band and a single diamond stone.
- A men’s onyx gold ring.
- A crystal heart necklace.
- A yellow gold charm bracelet with charms on it.
- A yellow gold bracelet with a noughts and crosses style design.

i doubt if anything will be done about it – you are given a crime number for your insurance claim, and thats the last you hear about it , and if the thieving scum are caught they will probably walk to continue thier profession
