
A road in Broadstairs has been closed while emergency services attend a collision (October 26).
A car and a pedestrian have been involved in the incident on A255 Queens Road. The road is shut both ways from B2052 to Pierremont Avenue. Kent Police say a man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.

(Updated statement) A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called at 3.27pm to a report of a collision involving a car and a male pedestrian in High Street, Broadstairs.
“Officers and ambulance attended and the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. He remains in hospital.”
