Appeal after thieves steal and burn out Land Rover from Broadstairs

The Land Rover was stolen from Broadstairs

Theives stole a Land Rover from Broadstairs and then dumped it, burnt out, in a field opposite Hornby’s in Margate.

It was reported the vehicle was stolen whilst parked on the roadside in Edge End Road between 5pm on Monday  (February 3) and 5.30am the following day.

The khaki green Land Rover Series 3 was found burnt out on Tuesday (February 4). The vehicle had been used in  the Royal Air Force for 12 years prior to private ownership.

Officers would like to speak to anyone with information about the theft, or if they witnessed something suspicious in the area which might assist enquiries.
