All set for Pilgrims Hospices Thanet Colour Run

The  Pilgrims Hospices Thanet Colour Run takes place today (October 20) from The Oval, Cliftonville.

After a fun Zumba warmup, participants run, walk or jog the event after a massive colour explosion at the start.

The run takes participants along the amazing coastal route and through placed colour stations and then returns to The Oval. It takes place between 11.30am – 1.30pm.

Ramsgate mayor Raushan Ara is one of those taking part.

She said: “This year I lost my father and I was fortunate to be able to be there at the end of his life. Pilgrims Hospices provide a wide range of supportive services as well as end of life care including: therapeutic programs, clinics and home support, respite to families, friends and carers.

“The hospice needs funding to keep it running at current levels. The Pilgrims Hospice is a part of our community and I would love  help in raising funds to keep this vital service going.”
