Two AA Rosettes awarded to The Corner House in Minster

The Corner House chef/owner Matt Sworder

The Corner House in Minster has been awarded Two AA Rosettes.

The AA rosettes are awarded to restaurants aiming for and achieving high standards, consistency, attention to selecting quality ingredients and precision in cooking.

The Corner House Minster was opened in July 2013 and has twice won the Taste of Kent Restaurant of The Year award.

Having come from a hospitality background, restaurant chef/owner Matt Sworder set up The Corner House following a period spent working in London for top chefs including Anthony Demetre and Adam Byatt.

Matt, who also has an AA rosette Corner House venue in Canterbury, said: “I’m proud of my teams who work extremely hard to maintain consistently high standards. I’m doubly delighted that Minster has now followed Canterbury in being awarded this fantastic accolade. Huge thanks to the team, our suppliers and all our customers for their continued support.”

In May Matt also launched The Corner House Cookbook, priced at £20 and  available from a range of stockists including both of The Corner House restaurants.
