St Lawrence College Year 5 Junior School pupil Charlie has been busy collecting donations of toiletries for families who suffer domestic violence and take refuge with Oasis Domestic Abuse Service.
Charlie spoke to all the children at his school and motivated everyone to support his collection. Oasis wrote to Charlie to say how the items donated will go to families in real need.
Junior school headteacher Mrs Rowe said: “We are very proud of Charlie’s efforts, for a young man to show such kindness and empathy is fantastic. He spoke with such passion about the charity that everyone was compelled to get behind his campaign.”
