Teenager arrested in Ramsgate on suspicion of three assaults

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of three assaults and criminal damage following a disturbance in Ramsgate town centre on Saturday (April 20).

Police were called to King Street at 6.52pm. A witness says the man was at a takeaway near to the York Arms when he was arrested.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: “An 18-year-old man arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and three counts of assault. He has been released under investigation.”
