Man remanded following cannabis plants discovery in Ramsgate

A man has been charged with the production of cannabis after 100 plants were discovered at a property in Ramsgate on Saturday (April 20).

Kent Police was called to an address in Grove Road to reports of suspicious activity.

When officers attended, they discovered the cultivation and approximately 100 plants.

Le Tientung, 40, of no fixed address, was later arrested and charged with production of a Class B substance.

He appeared at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court on yesterday (April 22) where he was remanded until his next court appearance on a date yet to be agreed.
