Youngsters from the Quarterdeck youth hub in Cliftonville will be showing off their hard work at today’s Margate carnival.
The youngsters, aged 11 to 18, have created a nature vs litter themed float complete with litter monster!
Kent County Councillors Emma Dawson, Barry Lewis and Lesley Game donated community grant funds to help make the project possible.

Cllr Dawson said: “All the kids have created such beautiful outstanding art work.”
The young people, who have also been out on a litter pick this week, worked with Dan Thompson who is the creative evaluator – artist documenting their journey and helping the youngsters gain Arts Award. The project was led by Terri Askew and the Great British Carnival.
