Ambulance and police have attended the scene of a crash on the A256 between Ramsgate and Sandwich,
The incident, reportedly involving a motorbike colliding into the back of a van on the Ramsgate Road, happened this evening (June 18) at around 5.40pm. Traffic has backed up past the Pegwell Country Park.
The road has been closed in both directions.
A Kent Police spokesman said: “Kent Police was called at 5.46pm to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a van on the A256 near Richborough.
“Officers attended the scene with South East Coast Ambulance Service. A road closure was put in place and a man was taken to a local hospital for treatment.”
