A 21-year-old man is to appear in crown court next month charged with an assault in Margate.
Kent Police was called at 3.54am on Thursday 22 March to a report of a disturbance in the High Street.
A man in his 20s sustained several injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.
Kai Clarke, of Park Place, Margate, was charged with one count of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
He appeared at Canterbury Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 24 March and was remanded in custody.
The case will be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on 30 April.
