Police attend two crashes at the Monkton roundabout of the Thanet Way

Kent Police officers have attended two accidents at the Monkton Roundabout, Thanet Way,this evening (February 27).

Officers were called to a single collision at 8.56pm. It was reported that a van had left the road. When police attended the scene they identified that a separate collision, involving two vehicles, had also taken place.

Kent Fire and Rescue was also called to the scene. A spokesman said: “KFRS was called to a road crash involving three vehicles on Willetts Hill, near Monkton at 8.59pm.

“However, crews were not required to take any action as Kent Police and SECAmb were also on the scene and the only casualty had managed to get out of their vehicle with assistance from members of the public.”
