A 34 year old woman remains in custody after being arrested for trespassing on rail tracks at Margate station.
British Transport Police and Kent Police were called to the train station at 4.43pm yesterday (December 19).
A BTP spokesman said: ” The woman was reported on the tracks and officers from BTP and Kent Police responded. She was arrested on suspicion of trespass and remains in custody while enquiries continue.”
Some closures had to be put in place on the line while officers dealt with the incident.
