What you need to know about Margate Rotary’s Santa sleigh street visits

Santa is coming to Margate

Santa will be out on his sleigh visiting homes in Margate next month.

The Rotary Club of Margate will be bringing Father Christmas and his helpers around the streets of the town from December 11 to 21  each evening starting  at 5.30pm ending 7.30pm.

The Santa sleigh route:

Monday, December 11:    Palm Bay, Summerfield Road area.

Tuesday, December 12:     Palm Bay, Eastchurch Road area

Thursday, December 14:   Millmead,  Dane Valley Road & Tomlin Drive area

Monday, December 18:      Millmead, Kent Road area

Tuesday, December 19:    Poet’s Corner, St Peters Footpath area

Thursday, December 21:    Poet’s Corner, Rosedale Road area

The sleigh with Father Christmas will also be at Morrison’s in College Road Margate on December 9 and Sainsbury’s Westwood Cross on December 16 between  10am and 4pm.

The visits are free but there will be a voluntary collection to help Rotary fund 60 Christmas dinners delivered by Rotarians to the elderly and lonely on Christmas Day.
