Fire crews have attended a roof blaze in Margate tonight (September 2)
Kent Fire and Rescue Service’s emergency control room received a number of calls about smoke coming from a roof in Nash Court Gardens at around 7.40pm.
Three fire engines were sent to the two-storey house and firefighters wearing breathing apparatus went into the property and used hose reels and water from a hydrant to put the fire out.
Fire crews worked hard to successfully contain the fire in the roof space and the incident was reduced to one fire engine by 9.20pm.
