Thanet landlords are invited to this annual event

Thanet landlords forum

Thanet District Council’s annual landlord event takes place next week.

The forum aims to bring the council and landlords  together to promote good quality homes and management standards in the private rented sector. It is a chance to discuss best practice and helps to raise awareness amongst landlords of their obligations and what the council can do to support them. All landlords in the area are invited to attend and to book their places now.

The event takes place at St. Peters Church Hall, Hopeville Avenue, St. Peters,  on Tuesday, September 26. Doors open at 12:45pm, with presentations from 1:15pm. Free tea and coffee will be available.

The programme includes speakers from Beckett Chambers, the National Landlords Association, Thanet District Council, Porchlight, Margate Task Force, Jobcentre Plus and Kreston Reeves Accountants and Financial Planners.

  • Legal advice for landlords;
  • New measures introduced by the Housing and Planning Act 2016;
