Sculpt a cake from Plasticine at this Margate Macmillan coffee morning with a twist

A+C studios

Fancy sculpting a cake out of Plasticine while raising cash for a good cause?

A+C animation studio in Margate is offering people the chance to do just that at its Macmillan Cancer Support coffee morning today (September 22).

The event runs from 10am to noon at the studios at The Old Laundry, St John’s Road, Margate.

The studio will be serving teas and coffees, a selection of cakes plus offer the chance to sculpt a Plasticine cake

The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan’s biggest fundraising event for people facing cancer. Last year Macmillan raised £29.5 million.

Studio founder Dan Richards (pictured with some of the A+C team) said: “We are really excited about the event and inviting people into our studio in Margate to not only eat cake but have a go at sculpting one out of Plasticine!

“I have a special place in my heart for this charity as my mum had a Macmillan nurse that she was very close to and so this really means a lot to me. Macmillan do some amazing work and I really hope we can raise lots of money at this event!”
