A woman was attacked and robbed in Margate High Street by three teenagers on Sunday (August 6).
Kent Police is appealing for witnesses to the incident, reported to have occurred between 10.40pm and 10.56pm.
The victim, aged in her 20s, was walking with a second woman when they were approached by a group of young people. The group is reported to have shouted abuse at the victim before punching her in the head and attacking her as she lay on the floor.
The suspects are described as two boys and a girl aged between 16 and 17 years old. One of the boys is described as white and wearing dark clothing.
The second boy is described as white, wearing dark clothing and of small build. The girl was reported to have been of thin build, with a brown ponytail and wearing a bright red top and a short denim skirt.
The group left the scene in the direction of Grosvenor Place.
A bright orange bum bag containing bank cards, keys, a driving licence, a mobile phone and other personal items is reported to have been taken.
Officers are keen to speak to anyone with information about the incident or the identity of those involved. They would particularly like to speak to a taxi driver and a male dog walker who were seen in the area at the time of the assault and may have witnessed the incident.
