A man has been remanded in custody on drug offences following a raid at a Broadstairs property.
Officers carried out a search warrant at a property in Northwood Road on Tuesday (August 4) and arrested a 36-year-old man.
A witness said: “There were roughly 9 or 10 undercover police officers with stab vests and one had a battering ram thing.
“When we went (past later) the front door was laying on the floor and it’s all boarded up now.”
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police Officers conducted a search warrant at a property in Northwood Road, Broadstairs, on Tuesday 4 August.
“A 36 year old man was arrested at the scene.
“Aaron Arinszewski, of Milton Avenue, Margate, has since been charged with three drug related offences.
“He attended Margate Magistrates’ Court on 5 August and has been remanded into custody.”
