A Margate man has been remanded in custody after officers found class A drugs believed to be worth more than £8,000.
An investigation by Kent Police was launched into a drug line suspected of supplying the east Kent area, which led to officers searching a car and a property in Margate on Monday (3 August).
Phones, cash and a block of cocaine, worth an estimated £8,000, were seized by officers, as well as a quantity of cannabis. A man was arrested and taken into custody.
Blake Todd, 30, of Victoria Avenue, Margate, was later charged with possession of cannabis with intent to supply, and possession of cocaine with intent to supply.
He appeared at Margate Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (4 August) and was remanded. The case will next be heard at Canterbury Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.

Same everywhere. Legalise, regulate, provide addiction support. Worked everywhere else its been tried. Certain states in the usa are raking in so much tax from it, they actually ended up with budget surpluses.
Better still, don’t take drugs! Always worked for me.
Also make it indoors only-so we don’t have to breathe the revolting dope smell in.
Leagalize cannabis and allow 2 plants to be grown per house you wouldn’t have half has much trouble and I reckon less drinking I wanted to open up a cafe but no clue how to then I see someone else wanted to do same thing but reckon they must have been turned down shame it works in Amsterdam and prob other parts of world but I only been Amsterdam everyone just so chilled it’s lovely maybe I move to Amsterdam it’s beautiful there xxx
They also tend to cycle everywhere in Amsterdam, unlike the stoners here who insist on driving. BIG difference.
Shouldn’t be allowed in homes. You want it you go to special centres with everybody else & shoot up, smoke away-make them out of the way from the general public as well.
Not taking drugs unless for medical reasons is very good for you.
