Emergency services confirm woman deceased at scene following call to Westgate

A woman has sadly been declared deceased at the scene following emergency services attendance in Westgate this morning (February 16).

Police, paramedics and the air ambulance were called to Cambourn Avenue at around 9.30am.

A Kent Police spokesperson said: ” Kent Police was called at 9.30am on Monday 16 February 2026 by South East Coast Ambulance Service to an address in Cambourn Avenue, Westgate On Sea.

“A woman in her 40s was declared deceased at the scene. The death is not being treated as suspicious, and a report will be prepared for the coroner.

“Next of kin have been informed.”
