A 27-year-old man has been remanded in custody on charges of aggravated burglary and possession of cocaine after police were called to a man suffering stab wounds at a property in Ramsgate on Wednesday (April 9).
Kent Police officers were called to a property in Boundary Road at 2.39am that morning to a reported assault. The victim was taken to a London hospital where he continues to receive treatment.
Tyler Walsh, of Coleman Crescent, Ramsgate, was later arrested and charged with aggravated burglary and possession of cocaine.
A Kent Police spokesperson said: “Kent Police was called following a report of an assault at a property in Boundary Road, Ramsgate at 2.39am on Wednesday 9 April.
“Emergency services attended and a man was taken to a London hospital, where he remains receiving treatment.
“As part of the ongoing investigation into the incident, detectives have charged Tyler Walsh with aggravated burglary and possession of cocaine.
“The 27 year old, of Coleman Crescent, Ramsgate, appeared before Margate Magistrates’ Court on Friday 11 April and was remanded in custody to appear before Canterbury Crown Court on Monday 12 May.”
