Palm Bay Primary’s celebration of World Book Day was a resounding success, filled with creativity, enthusiasm, and literary magic.

A highlight of the event was the staff’s engaging performance of “Room on the Broom” during the school assembly, which captivated the young audience. The school’s literacy lead orchestrated a series of activities across all classes, ensuring that every student had the opportunity to immerse themselves in the joy of reading.
Adding to the day’s excitement, renowned World Poetry Slam Champion Harry Baker joined the festivities, conducting poetry writing workshops for Years 5 and 6. His dynamic performances and guidance inspired the students to craft and share their own poems, showcasing their newfound skills.
