A EuroMillions prize worth £84,935.20 has yet to be claimed from a ticket bought in Thanet. National Lottery players are being urged to check and double-check their tickets for the chance to claim this life-changing prize.
The search is now on to find the owner of the winning ticket who matched the five main numbers and one Lucky Star number in the EuroMillions draw on Bonfire Night, 5 November 2024. The winning EuroMillions numbers in the draw were 1, 8, 19, 37 and 50 and the Lucky Star numbers were 6 and 9. The lucky ticket-holder has until 4 May 2025 to claim their prize.
Anyone not in possession of their ticket, for whatever reason, but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to Allwyn, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.
Andy Carter, Senior Winners Advisor at Allwyn, operators of The National Lottery said: “If you bought a EuroMillions ticket in Thanet for the draw on 5 November, it’s time to look everywhere – check the pockets of coats you might have been wearing at the time as you might well have been out and about for Bonfire Night celebrations? Failing that, check bags, in the car, wallets and purses and in that sideboard or drawer where we all tend to put bits and pieces – anywhere and everywhere you can think of!
“Do you live or work in the area, do you have family and friends there who you were visiting or were you just passing through? We’re desperate to find this mystery ticket-holder and pay out their life-changing prize – imagine the possibilities for them for the next year and beyond, and especially in the lead into Christmas. We have the champagne on ice and our fingers crossed that the lucky winner comes forward to claim their win.”
Players can buy and check their tickets online by downloading the National Lottery app or at national-lottery.co.uk.
If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before the prize claim deadline, then the prize money, plus all the interest it has generated, will go to help National Lottery-funded projects across the UK.

The lotto know what time what shop what day what lotto machine sold that ticket why don’t they just reveal that information and that might narrow it down instead of thousands of people searching for something they haven’t got pretty simple really .but good luck hope the person finds that ticket congratulations to you .
You actually believe there are thousands of people in a tiny district that haven’t even checked their ticket?
The number of people who have bought a ticket and not checked them nationwide is minuscule.
And thus there would be little benefit in disclosing the shop.
