Multitasking, a group exhibition of 2D and 3D work from Eleanor Bedlow, Julie Caves, Geoffrey Chambers, Rebecca Elves.
Eleanor Bedlow’s fragile and tactile sculptures sit alongside delicate drawings and paintings.
Julie Caves is preliminarily a painter, whose interest is in the observation of light and colour.
Georffrey Chambers incorporates multiple disciplines into his practice which explores the dynamics of culture, assumed identities and belonging.
Rebecca Elves is interested in the unknown interiors of things, working intuitively between two- and three-dimensional forms,.
pink suits: Dystopian Hellscape

Margate Fire Station charity car wash
March 23, 10am-4pm, Margate Fire Station
Margate wholetime and part time firefighters will be holding a car wash event at the fire station on Saturday 23 March in aid of The Fire Fighter’s Charity.
Held in the fire station car park, on Grosvenor Gardens, Margate, drive over between 10am and 4pm to have your car washed by crews in exchange for a donation. Cash donations will be accepted.
To help the event run as smoothly as possible, please:
• Remain in your car
• Stick to the 5mph speed limit for all vehicles
• Once on-site, your vehicle engine will need to be switched off, with the handbrake put on, ready for your car wash

Car convoy Palestine demonstration
March 23
Campaigners from Thanet4Palestine are planning a “car convoy” to travel around Thanet.
Donal Lennon of Thanet4Palestine who are organising the convoy said: “We shall link the three major towns on the Isle of Thanet in one unified action.”
The convoy aims, says Donal, to protest at the British government’s role in the Gaza genocide.
The car convoy will assemble at 1pm at the Palm Bay Café in Margate. Anyone wishing to take part who doesn’t have a car will be found a space in someone else’s.

Grand Finale Variety Show closes POW Festival 2024

The Power Of Women (POW) Thanet Festival is set to conclude with a spectacular Variety Show at the Sarah Thorne Theatre in Broadstairs.
The event is hosted by the award-winning comedian, writer, and radio personality Rosie Wilby.
The Variety Show lineup also includes Liv Morris, Ada Campe, Charlie George, Liz Bentley, ELZ and”Twisted Sister” by Carol Cooper- a dark comedy play directed by Jessica Turner. It features a riveting tale of contrasting siblings, performed by Kerrie Hayes and Kate Cooper.
