Four fire engines and a height vehicle have attended a house fire in Margate today (April 10).
Fire crews and paramedics were called to Byron Avenue at 4.50pm.
Two people were passed into the care of paramedics.
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “Kent Fire and Rescue Service was called to reports of a house fire in Byron Avenue, Margate.
“Control operators sent four fire engines and a height vehicle to the scene and crews, wearing breathing apparatus, used main jets to extinguish the flames.
“Two people were passed into the care of SECAmb paramedics. The cause is not yet known.”
Fire crews finished at the scene at 7.16pm.
