Police are appealing for witnesses to a serious assault in Margate during the early hours of Wednesday (January 28).
Kent Police was called to a report of the assault inside a private residence at flats at the top of Margate High Street (Mill Lane car park end), at 1.36am.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers and paramedics attended the scene where a man was treated for injuries. He was taken to a local hospital for further medical attention.
“Nobody has been arrested at this stage and an investigation into the circumstances is underway. Anybody who witnessed the incident and has not yet spoken to the police is urged to call 01843 222289, quoting reference 46/15034/26.”
